Dr. Gadalla is a periodontal specialist with more than 13 years of experience, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on our team! Thanks to her extensive training, she’s able to offer world-class gum disease therapy and dental implant-related care, enabling our patients to get more services in a single location. Dr. Gadalla’s journey into dentistry is a unique one, and you can learn more about it and her below.
Dr. Gadalla is not the first person in her family who wanted to become a dentist. Initially, it was her mother’s dream. However, her mother ultimately chose to attend economics school after her mother passed away during her senior year of high school, as it allowed her to be closer to home and support her family. Fortunately for us, her dream was passed down to Dr. Gadalla, who was ultimately able to fulfill it, making both of her parents extremely proud.
Dr. Gadalla is originally from Libya, so she graduated from dental school and practiced there for three years before deciding to come to the U.S. Here, she obtained her periodontist certification by completing a fellowship at the University of Florida as well as a residency at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and St. John Hospital. She continues to learn and improve her skills to this day by maintaining a membership in the American Academy of Periodontology.
When she isn’t helping patients, you’ll almost always find Dr. Gadalla at home taking care of her four children. She loves to cook and decorate, so our team believes her kids are extremely lucky! Most of her weekends involve attending their various activities and cheering them on, but she also enjoys staying active and playing volleyball whenever she can.
